Yes, they were supposed to upgrade the browser when support for IE6 stoppped. They still haven't done it. We no longer manage our IT ourselves. It was contracted out to a company called Atlas. Least said about how crap they are the better.

What do you work as again?

RAF Information Computer Technology Technician. I was originally trained as an Airfield Technician, able to fix and repair airfield communications and radar equipment at component level. But again, a good portion of that has been contracted to civilian companies.

That was never the intention. I get told off for being too ambigious sometimes. Hitting you with lots of RAF letters and acronyms is bad mmmkay? My original job title was Eng Tech EL. Which meant Engineering Technician of Electronics.
