1. As soon as bukkit releases a stable 1.4.2 build and plugins we need to have updated are updated we will add the new items to the shopQuote:

2. You can put all new items in houses apart from item frames, item frames are currently not protected by worldguard so anyone can place/destroy them everywhere. They can't be placed anywhere for now.
