Request permission from jack! Also not professional

Jack alone. Do not close my post without jack first seeing it because it was not direct towards you, please and thank you very much. You are though welcome to discuss things about this build and any suggestions would be nice.

What i am requesting from jack is the torches surrounding my plot in derpville to be removed because it counter acts the effect i am going to make in my pond. My house has a over water pond in the front so that i has water under it and a porch above. I will be placing redstone lamps under it connected to a system that turns them off during the day and on at night.. The water and all of the house by front will be light by the redstone torch under the water. The torches shown her will mess the design up.

Why i am asking it to be done is that if it is our house and we are coming up with ideas we all share the world, shall we not have the opportunity to have certain things arranged. This is minor and sense the 1.5 update i think the torches ought to be changed by now. A little variety couldn't hurt?

Jack would you conciser letting me have this effect for my plot in Derpville?

Why i ask for it here and not some place in the wild is because i want everyone who walks in your town to see it. I want to showcase my work to everyone instead of hide it away in some dark ally of trees.

It's not that great looking with a row of torches in the streets.. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? Would you all like to see a change? Do you think it would matter to change this up and or let others remove their torches if they have lighting?

Its a shame that i would have to deal with those torches. When i like this server because of the no plot me citys the way it looks is great other then the fact that one thing about it I think makes it look nasty and cheap.. But its something we could always change :)

Wasn't really necessary to post this hewhotrollsyou, You could have asked us to do this in game.

When you have placed the redstone lamps we will remove the torches from outside the boundaries of your plot if that is what you'd like us to do.

The reason that torches are used when making towns is that we need the streets to be lit and the creation of a new town is time consuming enough as it is without having to create redstone powered lights. The sheer size and volume of the towns on the server would take up more time than we have to spare to alter all the lighting. Our time is better spent taking care of the players needs.

Jack, No doubt, will see this upon his return but he is currently on vacation and will not be returning till some point next week.

^ Plus it'll cause lagg updating every redstone lamp over and over again
