well i don't know what programs and how many programs horsegal was going to use, and how much Ram needs to be used, but more ram is better, you shoulden't really have your ram running too high for too long. I have 16GB ram and just with background applications with no programs being used i am using up to 4G it really just depeands on what you want to use the PC for and what you want to have running. also it's not really just the ram. for a full licence of windows 7 prof, your looking at £170 and for an extra £200 i woulden't mind the extra ram that would normaly cost £50. + Gddr5 is much supirior to DDR3.
