With the release of the new minigames plugin I also reworked sonic, took this with me in one go.
Need to fix the /sonic help command, but /sonic time <player> will give you the best time of that player (or your own if you don't enter a player), the checkpoints & the player's best time of the current month.
For leaderboards: /sonic leaderboard <monthly>
