Slap Gaming’s Minecraft Community Celebrates Its 1st Birthday!
It only seems like yesterday for myself (Jackster21) and Duee (hungryhomer) when we decided to buy a 4 slot minecraft server from multiplay and see what we could do. Now, 1 year later, look what we’ve created.
Its gone from a group of 3-5 guys having a laugh building pointless buildings out of dirt, sailing around in boats to the middle of nowhere, surviving the night in a little cave to a 450 player international gaming community creating some of the most amazing and ridiculous builds I have ever seen on Minecraft. And the best part is, we’ve only just begun!
Each day we all log into our beloved Slap Gaming server and find a new creation has been constructed,
Each day we find new members joining our server, may it be a friend of a current player, or a new player looking to join our rapidly expanding community.
Alot has happened in 1 year, but you know what, i don’t think we’d change a single thing! This years events has made the server what it is today!
Now, We want to celebrate the Slap 1 Year Anniversary by throwing some epic competitions for you all to enter, and add some unmissable offers to help make your Slap experience a hell of a lot better!
So here’s what we have in store for you all!
The 20×20 Creative Challenge
To celebrate the Slap Gaming 1 year Anniversary we have lined up a special challenge for you all to take part in!
The 20×20 challenge will test your creative skills to the max! and here’s why:
Each player who enters the competition will receive a 20x20x30 square
Each player will receive a set amount of items located in 2 chests within your 20×20 square (all squares have the same items)
Your aim is to build the best creation possible within your square with the blocks provided
You will only have 1 hour to complete this
The event will be judged when all players have completed their 1 hour build
Anyone can enter the competition!
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
THIS EVENT IS BEING HELD ALL DAY ON THE 21st JANUARY 2012!
