It depends how you get the lines. A tetris, 4 lines at once, is worth 1600 points, where if you get 4 single lines at once then it's only 40 points a line, so 160 points. The aim is to get as many 'tetris' as possible, using that ultimate tetrominal shape: the line.

it's not about how many, but when. A tetris on level 5 will get you 6000 points +.

I got a tetris on the last level, and went up over 9000 points :D (about 9.4k :D)

and that led to a new high score :D

i was desperately waiting for a 4 line block, then it all went tits up!
and sods law, the next block out was a 4 liner, but it was too late -,-
