Server not working

When i get on the server it says: Failed to login: java.io.IOException: server returned HTTP response code:
then it has a bunch of letters and numbers

Well, the server itself is online; but as I am getting the same errors, I assume the login servers are down again...

the minecraft login servers are playing up, its nothing to do with our server.
