Away next weekend

Starting next weekend, I have to prepare for my cousin wedding. I have to help her set things up and spend as much time with her. Wedding is at September 2, 2012. What would happen if i don't go? "If you dont go to my wedding, you are disown from the whole family." <------ Asian family right there :3 I would only be gone for Saturday and Sunday
