Connection failure.

Yesterday i got my laptop back from repairs.
Ive been trying to log in since 7pm. I keep getting the same error message when i try to log in:
Failed to Login: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect.

Any ideas what's wrong?

i updated to 1.4.2 cuz it said it was available when i opened MC, but when i go to click on SLAP server it has an X over "1.3" and it doesnt allow me to join, please help

We ainr ready yet to run 1.4.2 so you updated to soon please downgrade to 1.3.2 to play on the server will check if i can make a 1.3.2 downgrade tutorial if i can find a clean 1.3.2 version
