Anyone pro at making skins?

a blue/white dragon human in lancer armor from FFtactics *without the lancer cape if possible*
I would make one myself but i suck at making skins the last one i made was just a blob,a sorry blob.

hmm my first attempt from scratch :P (although it actually misses the dragon influence atm)

how should I change it actually myth? make the armor more blue like the dragon and the brown/red leather more like the yellow belly of the dragon?

Yea make the armor look like the dragons skin, well if possible make the leather a dark brown mixed with dark`ish blues,the metal armor on the chest and for-arms can be a darker steel to, the skin could possible due with a tint of blue but not much,and violet eyes . GHaa i wish we had more pixels to work with, i am also trying again and i am struggling to make the skin look like a dragon the horns are not showing.

maybe you're bothered by the fact that they're blueish green and not plain blue like the rest of the armor?

I took the skin into a editor and found it looked grate with the boots being a darker brown ,mixed well with the blue contrast and color,but i think i see the problem now, its the fact the boots don't look like boots, I stopped trying to make it look like a dragon,and just going for lancer ,seeing how there is no lancer skin to be found
