Some of you may have noticed my lack of presence after I stepped down despite saying I would be on, I would like to say I am back as it were and to explain what happened shortly after leaving.
Some of you may know that I am in the process of becoming a permanent resident in Canada and that the application is taking longer than what is normal, which has been causing a huge amount of stress on both me and my wife. Recently some news was given to me that my application had in fact been cancelled, which caused us to panic for a couple of days, especially as we don't have to wait another year for my rights to live and work here. This caused several days of me having to deal with paperwork and sorting out what had gone wrong and as such I wasn't much in the mood to play games or socialize.
It is, for the most part, sorted now. The immigration office had made an error and was attempting to correspond with me at the wrong Email address, which they had copied from their website and written down wrong somehow, so a request was put in to no longer cancel the application and I am back in the process, and less panic. State of mind has also improved.
In any case, I will most likely be playing some minecraft or other games here again so I am no longer awol :).
