a command such as /block that will turn everything you have into blocks in your inventory such as coal, ingots, lapis, redstone, diamonds, glowstone

Would basically be a nice command for vips to allow them to quickly change their items into blocks, would be helpful when mining especially for coal, redstone and lapis

Yes, however if you'd been mining for some time, and had say 16 stacks of coal, it'd be condensed into 3 stacks of items alltogether saving inventory space
