Today I was on teamspeak for a couple hours. During that time, there was a lot of name changing. On TS, there is no restriction on that; however, the purposes of the changing were to mess with people. For about 15 minutes Shadew was freakingnout because of spiders and Jono switching his name. Also, jono and I had switched names for about 30 to mess with Blake and Niro. This was all fun, but I see the potential of this ruining a lot of fun in the future. I suggest a written guideline for TS usage. If you change your name, don't change it again 5 minutes later or to another username. Also, don't make it obscene or suggestive, even if it gets rid of being able to type #NiroShadew. These kind of guidelines would work.

Basically we need a rule on not to impersonate other players on the TS server.

It's a feature of teamspeak, nothing the server can control. Therefore the only other thing is adding rules about it etc; when as you said it was all for fun, we've never had any issues with people changing their names apart from when they're vulgar, at which point we intervene anyway.

While that may be true, there should be a bit more moderation of the name changes in TeamSpeak. E.g., not targeting people's fears in their name changes.

Name changes cannot be regulated by slap, name changing is a feature of TS and there is absolutely nothing that slap can physically do or change as this is a TeamSpeak application. There is really only one way to solve which is rules, these will probably be broken as it is hard to know how many times a person has changed their name. But anything is possible I guess?

When a name was changed to "Spider" I was joking in the way I acted. Sorry if this came across as if I were serious.
