The Nether....

Ok guys,

the Nether will be enabled for the Public on our server on the 14th/15th of June, when our server is upgraded from 400mb to 1.5GB of RAM (hopefully eliminating Lag)


The nether will have 1 portal to access it, which is located on the bottom floor of the castle, (down the stairs, on the way to public mine)


But,

heres the question for you all!! :D


Do you want PvP enabled in the nether?

Not completely sure actually, ghasts already seem to be a worthy opponent xD
But pvp would make nether even more dangerous, also when you are "safe" in your house :D

There will only be 1 entrance into the Nether, so you won't be building houses there.

The portal on the nether side will have a 'safe' area around it, once you step outside of that, pvp is on.

Well u can, but ghasts will blow it up xD

Ghasts cannot destroy cobble, mossy cobble, smooth stone, obsidian, iron(?), and diamond(?) blocks.
I thought it was still like that, couldn't find it on the wiki so i'm not completely sure.
And otherwise you could still build it underground or in a wall + they cant see through glass so they wont shoot at you if you are in your house.

Depends, i think.
a PvP area somewhere would be good, but right at spawn good be a problem.

spawnkillers -> repeated death whilst trying to get in nether -> -.-

Maybe like a 200-blocks-out rule, if you can code tht?
