Basically I'm just waiting for duee to set up tf2.slap-gaming.com / tf2.slapgaming.com (how ever mc.slap-gaming.com currently works ). I mean it's a vanilla server with the normal map rotation, we have the admin addons / plugins installed for in game admin control and server control etc but nothing else at the moment. No radio, sprays anything cool like that

I'm quite busy starting tomorrow with work but if all gets sorted tonight then I'll happily open the server, but I won't be on much myself. The server will be open to quick play as well so should get more than just slap players on there.

Yet to talk to Jack about anything like donation systems and rewards etc or if we will even have them.

Don't worry about natting, not unless you never need to do anything with it

I think you took me in a seriously wrong way there. There's a massive difference between pay to win and donations. If I wanted to let engineer's build like 15 turrets for example, I wouldn't be leading this community project. However donate for a reserve slot or funny hat colours are perfectly acceptable in my eyes.

I'm totally against pay to win models or any form of donating for an edge, you donate to support the server and we would reward in such a way that boosts the fun a bit without effecting the game.

I don't play many servers that have heavy donation systems like saign, and it's horrible either way. No player gets an advantage unless they play and practice more.

I am really looking forward to this project. Team Fortress is one of the games i've played most in my steam list.

On one of the last servers i played on i saw a feature that - after typing !robot - would turn you in one of these MvM robots.
It acutally doesn't affect the gameplay itself so something like that could be suitable for a reward of donation in my eyes.
