Fishing problem?

I'm not sure if anybody else is having this problem , but whenever I go to fish my hook stays ABOVE the water instead of below the water....

you sure you went fishing in a place where there are fish? fish aren't to be in any water source like they used too realy long ago, try a ocean, and not spawn fountain or something(although a fountain does have water flow that might help fish to be there)

I did go to an ocean and my hook was above the water I even got in a boat and started fishing , no worky

I think this is a visual glitch/MC glitch as we have no modifications regarding fishing.

try relogging when it happens..
And post here if this problem persists.
