Spawn Rates

Seeing what is above, I assume this is happening in most places since the 1.6 new chunks ordeal but is there anyway of blocking even passive mobs from spawning liek as shown above or fix it to where it doesn't go so crazy?

I think this is a bug with 1.6 Because this happened on another server and the owner just stoped the spawning of the cats cause there was over 3000 in one area at once. They breed like crazy in the new update

In my SinglePlayer world they dont spawn like that.....

Combination of a bug in bukkit & a bug in vanilla minecraft. Fixed in a newer CB build which I will apply soon.

Edit: Should be fixed now.

Not fixed, Saw the same issue today in a jungle biome in the creative world :/

Contact an admin to remove them, they don't despawn automatically. I'm fairly sure this has been fixed for new spawning cats

This purely client side lag, as the entities are not stacked together. Aka: get a better computer

I can tell you that I have a very good computer and I am not paying to improve it just because of the number of cats spawning in the world.... O_o
