Me and Kraft have a group going on. We would like to be able to update the one post he posted together but only staff can edit threads/posts.
Basically, have a button that allows someone to add other players to edit the specific post/thread

So for example, there is a little drop down button where you can maybe choose from your friends list to allow them? But you would have to do it to each post so they dont go trolling?

Yes, or there is a button that leads you to an area to type the person's name allowing them access to edit

As for the public forums, nope. not going to happen... Only the author and forum moderators will be able to edit topics. This is mainly because vBulletin, and other forum software, weren't built for this kind of access. I'm sure you could get around it with a hack, but i'm not too fond of most vBulletin hacks, as most of them directly change the db.

Besides my technical objection, I really think it wouldn't be a smart idea to let multiple people edit posts, I would only make it harder for staff to track who edited what exactly.
