Smaller more frequent competitions or bigger less frequent?

So currently we run competitions as a rare thing for holidays and stuff, but would you guys prefer us to run them more often but have the prizes smaller, and also the competition smaller?

I'd like to see a competition every one or two months. Then, during the summer, we have a fairly large contest of some sort.
